David Currie (journalist)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
David Currie presents Sportscene on BBC Scotland, alongside Stuart Cosgrove, and rising star Jonathan Sutherland. Currie first shot to fame as Jim Traynor's sidekick on Your Call on BBC Radio Scotland, where he displayed admirable resilience in the face of a torrent of abuse.
He began presenting Sportscene in August 2005, and became an instant housewives' favourite due to his similarity to Baywatch hunk David Hasselhoff.[citation needed]
He started his career with DC Thomson and was a journalist with The Sunday Post for many years before leaving to become a television reporter at Border television.
