David Charbonneau

David Charbonneau is an astronomer at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. He is best known for his work on exoplanets.

In 1999, he led a team that made the first observation of a transiting exoplanet, HD 209458b. This in turn allowed the first measurement of an exoplanet's density.
