David Bar Hayim

Rabbi David Bar Hayim (born David Mandel) was born in Australia. He learned at the Merkaz Harav Kook yeshiva in Jerusalem for many years. He subsequently taught Gemara (Talmud) at the Yeshivat Haraayon Hayehudi of Rabbi Meir Kahane.

Currently he is the head of Beit Din Beit Vaad Lechachamim, the head of Machon Ben Yishai (a Torah Research Institute), and a member of the Vaad HaTorani ("Torah Council") of Manhigut Yehudit.
