David Allen Lambert

David Allen Lambert, (born June 28, 1969 in Norwood, Massachusetts), Author, lecturer, and genealogist. Attributed to finding the oldest living professional baseball player Silas Simmons in 2005. David is the Online Genealogist at the New England Historic Genealogical Society in Boston, Massachusetts. He is author of two books "A Guide to Massachusetts Cemeteries", and "Images of America: Stoughton, Massachusetts". David has lectured around the U.S. and Canada on many topics of genealogical and historical studies. These topics included: Reseaching your American Civil War Ancestor; Cemetery Research; Using Military Pension files; The Genealogy Resources of the Internet; Pauper Records; Church Records; Using 17th and 18th century Town Records; Newspaper Resources for Genealogist. David has appeared on numerous radio and television shows, including the PBS-TV show History Detectives.
