David Abraham Cheulkar

David Abraham Cheulkar (1908 - 1982) was a Jewish-Indian Hindi-language film actor. A member of Mumbai's Marathi-speaking Bene Israel community, Cheulkar went by the one-word stage name "David". He was strongly associated with friendly uncle roles, and was best known for his portrayal of John Chacha in the 1954 hit Boot Polish, directed by Raj Kapur, and for the song "Nanhe Munne Bachche".
