Dave Rayner (born October 26, 1982 in Oxford, Michigan) is an American NFL football player.

Rayner went to Oxford High School where he played as a kicker for the varsity football team. Rayner attended Michigan State and graduated in 2004. He played as the football team's place kicker for 4 years. He was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in 2005, and served as the kickoff specialist for the Colts. Rayner was released by the Colts, but was then claimed off of waivers by the Green Bay Packers on April 6, 2006. With Billy Cundiff being released, the Packers have given him the opportunity to be the full time kicker in 2006.

It has been noted that Rayner has one of the stronger legs among NFL place-kickers. Recently this season he kicked a 54-yard field goal against the Philadelphia Eagles, tying the longest field goal in Packers' history (Ryan Longwell and Chris Jacke also have made 54 yard field goals for the Packers) He also made a 55 yard field goal two weeks later against the Miami Dolphins; however, it was called back due a defensive penalty that occured before the snap, therefore the play was considered dead.
