Dave Madden was born on (December 17, 1931) in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada but raised in Terre Haute, Indiana, USA. He is best known for his role as Shirley Patridge's manager, Reuben Kincaid, on The Partridge Family. He was also a regular performer on Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In from 1968-1969. Dave also made notable guest appearances such as Happy Days, The Love Boat, Fantasy Island and other TV shows. His last guest appearance was on Sabrina, the Teenage Witch where he played Dr. Egglehoffer. As of 2004, Dave is semi-retired and living in Florida.

Dave has voiced the character of Bernard Walton for nearly twenty years on the radio drama Adventures in Odyssey.
