Dave Hansen (born December 18, 1947) is an American politician and currently serves as a member of the Wisconsin State Senate, representing the state's thirtieth senate district. He is a member of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin

Hansen was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 1971. He married his wife, Jane, in the same year. He has three children.

Before being elected to public office, he was a teacher and truck driver.

Hansen served on the Board of Supervisors for Brown County from 1996 to 2002. In November 2002, he was elected to the state senate and was re-elected in 2004.

Hansen has served as the Assistant Democratic Minority Leader for the Wisconsin State Senate since 2003.
