Dave Amels

Dave Amels (born 1960) founded music technology companies Voce and Bomb Factory. Both companies are known for detailed and realistic mathematical models of complex physical systems.

Despite being an inventor of influential digital products, Dave is famous for only using analog methods of recording. He designed recording studios and custom analog electronics for high end studios.

He is a musician and record producer, having worked with Ben E. King and Lenny Kravitz.

Dave is also a fan of 1960s garage rock and is a DJ at WFMU New York/New Jersey.
