Davar M. Boghaei

Professor Davar M. Boghaei is a professor of inorganic chemistry at the School of Chemistry at Sharif University of Technology in Iran.
He received his BSc from Tabriz University in 1971; his M.Sc. in Inorganic Chemistry Tehran University 1973, and his Ph.D. from University of Missouri, Columbia, U.S.A. (1974-1978).

He has received many national & international honors including:
- Scholarship for Top Student, Academic Prize of Government for Graduate Studies in USA, Ph.D. (UMC, USA) 1974-1978.
- Fellowship of Government for Research Stay in Germany. Justus-Leibig, University-Giessen, Germany, June-Sept. (1990).
- Distinguished Professor by Sharif University of Technology (1993).
- Research Scholar (Conduct Research in Inorganic Chemistry) - Sabbatical Leave. University of California, San-Diego, La-Jolla, (UCSD, USA.) 1999-2000.
For more than a decade, he was member of the National Chemistry Olympiad Committee and Mentor (1990-2001) where he was the teacher for most of highly ranked students of chemistry in Iran, most of whom are now studying chemistry at distinguished universities around the world.
