DAUGHTRY is the debut album of the American rock band, DAUGHTRY, the band formed and fronted by American Idol finalist Chris Daughtry. It was released on November 21, 2006 by RCA Records and 19 Recordings Limited. The first single to be released from the new album is It's Not Over.[1]. The album reached #1 on iTunes after the release. The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 behind Jay-Z's Kingdom Come. It sold approximately 304,000 copies in its first week, making it the second highest first week sales of any idol who didn't win the competition. The highest first week sales of any idol to date is Clay Aiken's Measure of a Man, which sold over 613,000 copies in its first week of release. It also nearly beat the first week sales of Carrie Underwood, whose CD Some Hearts sold 315,000 copies in its first week of release.
