Date Tadamune

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Date Tadamune (伊達忠宗?)(1600-1658) was the elder son of the famous and powerful daimyō (feudal lord) Date Masamune, and a powerful lord in his own right. When he died in 1658, his son Tsunamune became daimyō, but was removed soon afterwards in a noble family dispute known as the Date Sōdō or Date Disturbance.
