DataPower

DataPower is an IBM-owned company that produces XML appliances for processing XML messages. DataPower was one of the first companies that integrated application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) designed to accelerate XSLT processing into products.

DataPower was recognized early as an innovator in XML processing. XML messaging is now considered a critical element to Service-oriented architecture (SOA).
