Das Reich (newspaper)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Das Reich (German: The Reich) was a weekly newspaper founded by Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels in 1940. It was mainly circulated inside Germany, but was also available to subscribers in Switzerland and other European countries. Published by Deutscher Verlag, the newspaper contained exculsive material, including monthly articles written by Goebbels. Unlike other publications published in Germany at the time, Das Reich did not receive any political censorship and at its height was read by over one million readers.
