Raised and professionally trained in Toronto, Darryl is presently based in both Hamilton & Warkworth, ON where he has just completed a two-year sabbatical from the film industry to pursue other interests. Darryl has been the Personal Bodyguard to Industry Icons, Ms. Sophia Loren, Jamie Foxx and Sylvester Stallone (just to name a few). Seeing the many negative changes happening rapidly in the Film Industry, Darryl took leave to decide his future. Landing first in Trent Hills, Darryl discovered a wonderful community filled with generous people and commerce, yet wanting the proper promotion it deserves. For that reason, Darryl actively pursued a position in the Trent Hills & District Chamber of Commerce and many other community programs. It has been this positive change of lifestyle and community that has re-energized Darryl to return to the film industry and launch some new business ventures. Surprising, his first foray back into the film industry was as a participant of Discovery Channel’s “Canada’s Worst Handyman”, a reality show/documentary, showcasing five very challenged people who set out to renovate an apartment.
