Darren Forsyth is currently working full time as a creative web designer for Hilton International, He designs for both print and web based media and is involved in designing and creating email campaigns, web pages, flash content and animated masthead banners. Darren also designs in house print media such as brochures and visuals for the brand website.

Before working for Hilton International Darren was employed by Newsquest Media Group. Newsquest Media Group publish the Glasgow Herald, the Sunday Herald, the Evening Times and the West End Mail. Darren was part of the team that designed, produced and launched the West End Mail in June 2005. Part of this time working at Newsquest included working closely with the design and production staff on the Evening Times, where he received design and production training from design editor, Rob Bruce.

This was Darren's first job after graduating from Glasgow Caledonian University in May 2005, where he received a 2:1 bachelor of arts honors degree in Applied Graphics Technology with Multimedia. During his studies he was employed by the Scotsman Publications Limited, where he worked as a mac operator part time. Darren was given full production training on Quark, Photoshop and Illustrator by the Scotsman at their head office in Edinburgh.

Through Darren's studies, training and working he has gained a great deal of invaluable experience and full working knowledge of software packages such as Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator, Freehand, Dreamweaver, Flash, Director and Fireworks. Darren is fully literate in operating both MAC and PC systems.

Darren Forsyth is extremely ambitious and always keen to further his knowledge and skills in order to achieve as much he can as a designer. This includes working on a freelance basis, alongside his current work.
