Darrell Fitton

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Darrell Fitton, better known as his recording moniker Bola (and pseudonym Jello), is an electronic musician from Manchester, England. Darrell Fitton mixes warm and familiar ambient music with funky beats, and all of his albums have been soft in nature except for Fyuti which had harsher beats. He has also released an album under the Jello moniker, titled Voile.

The 1995 Bola debut 12" on Skam Records helped skyrocket the label's credit in the electronic music scene. An ultra-rare copy of an EP called Shapes was released in 2000, pressed at 300 copies; in September 2006, it was remastered and reissued in greater numbers by Ear-Rational.

Fitton is currently at work on his next album, titled Waknut.
