Darrell Eastlake

Darrell Eastlake is an Australian television presenter with the Nine Network.
Starting out on radio in the 1960s, he was involved with surfing. Since he joined the Nine Network he has commentated a huge array of sports, including motor racing (with his great mate Barry Sheene), weightlifting, surfing, football and ironman events.
He is noted for his over the top voice and loud antics, with a tendency to raise the excitement. This was particularly parodied by The Twelfth Man on The Final Dig (and even on earlier releases).
He was a commentator for the Nine Network for the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
