Darnall engine shed

Darnall engine shed was an engine shed in Darnall, Sheffield. It was built by the Great Central Railway to serve the Woodhead Line. The shed was built next to Woodburn Junction, the building was a 10 track straight through brick shed. It closed on 04 October 1965 when Tinsley Marshalling Yard and its depot opened.
