Darlene Fairley

Darlene Cook Fairley (b 1943) is a Washington State Senator representing the 32nd District. She now chairs the Financial Institutions, Housing, and Consumer Protection committee. She is running for her 4th term as a State Senator.
Fairley became Lake Forest Park councilmember in January 1992 and was first elected to the State Senate in 1994.
Fairley married Michael Gilbert Fairley in 1969. Fairley was disabled in a traffic accident involving a drunk driver in August 1977.
