Darkseed is a German gothic metal band, founded in 1992. Lead vocalist Stefan Hertrich left the band in 2003, only to return in 2004 and make "Ultimate Darkness", released in 2005. In 2006 he and Martin Motnik leave the band again, this effectively leaving the other members with the only right decision - to disband Darkseed.
