[edit] Player Profile
Walker is often known by experts as a patient runner. He often waits for the hole to develop on his offensive line and then takes off on a run. Many say he has NFL Draft consideration because of this technique. Experts say the pro coaches will consider him to be a pro running back because he has running qualities that are comparible to Warrick Dunn and Edgerrin James.
[edit] High School
Walker attended Buford High School where he won multiple State AA Championships and broke Herschel Walker's high school rushing touchdown record.
[edit] College
Walker was a freshman in 2004. He set a freshman record with 786 yards, on 185 carries, and 7 rushing touchdowns. He also had 10 receptions for 74 yards. He played in 11 games and started two of them. As a sophomore in 2005, he rushed for 1,106 yards on 237 attempts and had 6 rushing touchdowns. He opened the season with four 100+ yard performances and scored three touchdowns during Notre Dame's loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes during the Fiesta Bowl.
