Dapose (born Michael Dappen) is the guitarist for the band The Faint from Omaha, Nebraska. He attended Westside High School along with bandmate, Jacob Thiele and was involved in a death metal band. He later quit because of all the negativity associated with death metal.

Dapose's solo project,Precious Metal's, name was changed to Vverevvolf Grehv following a lawsuit by the "original" Precious Metal.
