[edit] How to make a userbox
Hi, noticed you asked for some assistance on how to create a userbox. If you still need help, take a look here. Alternatively, you could simply copy the code from an existing userbox and just edit the colours, text, image, etc.
Hope this helps. If you need any more help on userboxes, leave me a message - Dussst T | C 16:48, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hip Hop references article
The main problem with the article is that it went against WP:NOT#Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information, namely Point 2, on "Lists or repositories of loosely associated topics".
I looked at the article again, and it's just excerpts of song lyrics that contain references to various unrelated cultural icons, holidays, locations, etc. Essentially, it's just an unmaneagble list with loosely related topics. For example, just how is "Health" referenced songs related to "Television" referenced songs? There's just no way you can organize such references in a manner that's relevant
For many articles, there's often a section called "Cultural impact" or "References" where you can include such hip hop references. For example, the Elvis Presley article contains a sub-article called List of songs about or referencing Elvis Presley. You can easily include hip hop songs that reference the King there.

[edit] Bolivarian Circles
I had forgotten about that stub. Looking at the history, I stubbed it based on an article from Znet (see the zmag.org link at the bottom). It looks like that term refers to a small aspect within the overall movement called Bolivarianism, and should probably be categorized as such (under Category:Bolivarianism). (That in turn might (if not already) be categorized under Category:Socialist movements and/or Category:Populist movements). Znet's "watch" sections on various going-on in the Third World is the best place to start, IMHO. Indymedia is OK, but can be spotty. I'd also suggest using Google's language tools translation of pages to browse around (particularly the Spanish Indymedia pages). They often give a good gist. Hope that covers your questions to some useful degree. Regards, -Ste|vertigo 07:49, 15 February 2006 (UTC) P.S. People are accustomed to reading new comments at the bottom of talk pages. :) PPS: It would seem that all three of those cat links I made are nonexistent! Probably needs correcting. -S

[edit] Talk:Boston Tea Party
Howdy, I noticed that you and I seem to post in one or two articles dealing with progressive issues in political science/sociology. There's currently a debate beginning in Boston Tea Party as to whether the article should include the category [1]. It meets definitions set in the articles Terrorism and Definition of terrorism, however, there are several self-proclaimed patriots who watch BTP who refuse to recognise the fact. The simple criteria for terrorism generally seem to be intimidation or destruction of property in order to change public policy or public opinion while a state of war has not yet been declared. Some users would rather use recent acts of terrorism as a yardstick, rather than using a firm definition, and hence lose their ability to discuss matters calmly. Would you be able to pop in to the Talk page and join in the discussion? Thanks much, samwaltz 05:01, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
