Hello, DanCrowter! I'm Clamster5. While creating new and interesting articles is extremely helpful to the Wikipedia project, there are more than 19,000 articles that need to cleaned up. These articles could use your knowledge and time. There are so many pages currently needing clean-up that there is guaranteed to be something that you find interesting. Even fixing up just one is a huge help. If every editor on wikipedia edited just one article each, the backlog would be cleared in no time.
Thanks! Clamster5.
[edit] Blue Coat
Stop removing my hard work. No-one appreciates a stub article about a topic as boring as blue coat, so unless u want to write a worthy and accurate article on the school, let me and my colleagues tell the real story about blue coat. Another pointless appraisal of the school will do no one any good, whereas a humourous satire of such sites shows the good humour of ex-pupils and the well balanced nature of the people the school produces. Blue Coat does not care about its high achieving pupils, merely that everyone gets above a C, which is just crap. The academic and pastoral support is appaling, and pretence about a caring attitude is just that, pretence. I realise you may feel you are doing the school a duty, but I feel more proud that blue coat has one of the most original and entertaining pages on this site. If you won't take the time to make things right, please just let us have our fun and stop deleting it.
Well, clearly you havent been in the school long enough to realise what a total pile of turd it all is. I mean come on, giving the A-level prize to John Cordle? Does the school actually look at the results we work so hard to achieve?
[edit] Thanks
I must say, it was a pleasant suprise to read the wiki article today and see a more accurate and well balanced picture of the school. I fear I may have misjudged you earlier, such a balanced view can only be frowned upon by those in the senior management and I respect your stand against them. Many thanks. [edit] The Coventry Blue Coat Church of England School
Swarvellous dude (talk • contribs), I presume? I find it interesting how you find removal of unsourced derogatory information to be "vandalism". And NPOVing is not saying that unsourced allegations might not be true, no more than adding "But there is no proof" to the line "Someone said that George W. Bush likes to eat the flesh of baby puppies" makes the sentence NPOV. If it's not verifiable then it's WP:OR and is going away. Why not try adding sources or joining the discussion on the talk? - BanyanTree 17:21, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
- Ah, I see that you have posted to the talk. I must be going blind. I'll respond there. - BanyanTree 17:23, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Middle Aged Teacher
Lets just say the middle aged chemistry teachers name begins with D and rhymes with Moron. And the unnamed biology teacher is indeed your initial correct guess...
[edit] Re:The Coventry Blue Coat Church of England School
I saw a request for page protection at WP:RFPP and I went ahead and protected it. There has been heavy vandalism to the page, and I figured protecting the page would prevent this. The user also requested that the current version be reverted to the last cleanup made by BanyanTree. I looked changes over and saw that his version was better, so I did so. I will remain anonymous for the sake of my own life, but i can confirm that I am not Mr. Dixon nor Mr. James. Swarvellous dude 20:45, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
Well, wrong again. Just shows how little the school celebrates achievement that ive already been forgotten.Swarvellous dude 19:27, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
