Dan MacDonald (born April 19, 1986 in Antigonish) is a Canadian actor and Stunt man.

He grew up in Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia and was the eldest of two. His Parents are Donald MacDonald; of West Arichat, and Cathy (Murphy) MacDonald, of Port Hawkesbury. On July 18th 2001 Dan began his fascination of film and stunts after watching Jackie Chan movies. He began shooting his first short film with friends and family called: The Wooden Dagger. As the years passed Dan earned a reputation in the town and was given the name Jackie Dan because of his films.
After Graduating from SAERC in '04, Dan decided that acting was the way to go since being turned down by NSCC for Screen Arts and deciding not to take the year for Katimavik. In May of `05, Dan moved to Toronto where he attends an Acting Program at the Toronto Film school and trains his stunts skills with the Toronto based Extreme Martial Arts Performance group Team Ryouko.
In Dan's attempt to break into the Film Industry he's been signed with Talent 2NV, a background agency for while he is still in his studies; which are schedueled to end September 06. His Filmography seems to grow everyweek between the extra work, student movies, and his own films.
