I removed the following section:

Background animation controversy In 2002, It was found that 2 songs contained background videos depicting drugs, scantly clad nurses, and alcahol, I'm Alive and Club Tropicana, due to this some universites which had the game pulled it and replaced it. But the following things were discovered:

I'm Alive: The pill clip in I'm Alive actually near the arrow receptors had the word Medicine, and the song is "I'm Alive", right? The nurse scene did not have her riding a syringe, she was holding it and it was panning. The flying syringe scene was thought to have drugs, but there was actually people in doctor clothing behind them so

Club Tropicana: They thought the glasses were alcohol, but they were actually Smoothies, but why would DDR promote alcohol abuse when players have had decreases in the usage of both? That made no sense. So DDR Solo 2000 lives on, and now lets play those songs without worry.

It just seems like a badly written account of one player's personal experience with the administrators of his university. Certainly these things were not "discovered" 2 years after their release, and I see no documented evidence that "some universities" pulled the game. - Chardish 02:23, 14 Apr 2005 (UTC)

It actually originally involved an arcade in Poway, California. It got a bit of news coverage and led to other machines being removed in the area. Link to the news article. The section needs to be rewritten. --Poiuyt Man (talk) 12:00, 14 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Dance pad

I just noticed from the pictures, that the Solo 2000 pad seems to have a metal outline on the surface that matches the Solo Bass pad. It looks as if the Solo Bass pad just slides into the larger metal frame with the bar. Does anyone know anything about this? --Poiuyt Man (talk) 12:07, 23 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] "bootleg" Max2?

An unofficial "bootleg" version of DDRMAX2: Dance Dance Revolution 7thMIX ?

Is there more documentation or information on this? I can't seem to find any.

This is the best I can find. I remember seeing a thread on that board that had more information, but I can't find it at the moment. --Poiuyt Man talk 03:07, 26 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Home dance pad?

I've yet to find a reliable home version for the solo pad. The afterburner is durable and has the recessed buttons I need, but no up-left or up-right buttons. Cobalt Flux fails due to lack of recessed buttons. Is there any reliable metal pad that mimics the design well? Coolgamer 14:33, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
