"During his term, Israel was attacked with Scud missiles by Iraq, but the IDF, under orders from the Israeli government, did not retaliate." I do not think this needs to be said because it's irrelevant and this irrelevant information makes it sound like it's Shomron's fault. I'll remove it if no other argument will be presented.
