Danny Watson is a political talkback radio host based in Auckland New Zealand.

Danny Watson airs between 12:15 p.m. and 4 p.m. NZST on foreign-owned media conglomerate, Newstalk ZB. The Newstalk ZB website states that he is on air from 12 p.m., however at 12 p.m. is aired a 15 minute news report, and Mr. Watson does not actually air until 12:15 p.m..

His career has been varied, working as a construction worker, barman for the original Porirua Tavern, and stint in the New Zealand Army before becoming a talkback radio host. Once he hosted his own TV show.

Danny Watson has a negotiated salary contract with NewsTalk ZB, of an undisclosed sum.

Among his many interests, Danny is a Kyoshi (5th degree black belt) in Seido Karate, runs the Seido Devonport Karate Club[[1]], and oversees the Auckland region as chief instructor.
