Danny Murphy (born December 4, 1982) is an English footballer. Danny Murphy is a former left full back of Cork City. The "Cockney Rebel" signed in 2004 and helped win the Eircom League title in 2005. Danny Murphy was a huge fan favourite of the Rebel Army with his passion, pride in wearing the jersey and sheer determination.

Danny Murphy's contract with Cork City ran out following the 2006 season and he has agreed to sign for Scottish Premier League side Motherwell. He will be eligible to play as of January 1, 2007.
