Daniel John Mills (born May 18, 1977 in Norwich, Norfolk) is an English professional footballer, who currently plays for Manchester City. His main position is right-back though he can also play in central defence.
Mills began his career with Norwich City after coming through their youth system. He was unable to establish a regular place in the side and moved to Charlton in 1998.
He represented England at the 2002 FIFA World Cup, and has made a total of 19 appearances for the national team.
He looks set to leave Manchester City after falling out of favour with manager Stuart Pearce. He has recently been heavily linked with Aston Villa. However on the 14th September 2006 he joined Hull City in a two month loan deal. He has since returned to Manchester City.
