Danny Boy (singer)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Daniel O’Connor, better known as Danny Boy, is a former member of the Irish-influenced rap group House of Pain where he served as second MC next to Everlast, when the group formed in 1992. He made several vocal appearances on various tracks, but for the majority of the songs by House of Pain Everlast appeared solo.

After House of Pain split in 1996 he has not been very active, or at least not publically. His project A.T.F. (Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms) broke up before their first release, and the short lived group XSupermodels saw only a limited release. Danny Boy was also a member of the Shotblockers project and DMS (with Danny Diablo).

In 2006, Danny Boy formed La Coka Nostra, teaming up with old friends and fellow House of Pain member Everlast and DJ Lethal as well as Ill Bill of Non Phixion and newcomers Slaine and Big Left.

Besides his activities in music, Danny Boy founded and runs a graphic art company. He already did the art direction for House of Pain albums, and created both House of Pain and La Coka Nostra logos.
