Danish Pedophile Association is a self-described association of "pedophiles, supporters and others interested in the social, psychological, political and law aspects of pedophilia and children's sexuality." [1] The group's website says that the organization was disbanded on March 21, 2004 and that the website is run by a "group of active members of the former association." It was originally founded in 1985.

On July 23, 1996 the group had eighty registered members and participated in an International Congress in Denmark. It was also a member of the IPCE (formerly the International Pedophile and Child Emancipation).[2] A 2004 newspaper article identified Dan Markussen as the organization's spokesman.[3]

According to an October 22, 2001 article at the Salon.com website, the group asked its members to provide misleading information to authorities to help Eric Rosser, a man charged with child molestation, escape from authorities. [4]
