[edit] Career
Rodimer was a finalist in the 2004 WWE $1,000,000 Tough Enough Tough Enough competition. On July 12, 2006, he was signed to a developmental contract with WWE and was assigned to Deep South Wrestling.
On September 24 he had his first televised match in DSW as "The Big Deal" Dan Rodimer, defeating Tommy Suede with a Full nelson slam. Rodimer later changed his ring name to "The Real Deal" Dan Rodimer. Stephanie McMahon is believed to want to give Rodimer a strong push, similar to the role of Brock Lesnar while Lesnar was in World Wrestling Entertainment.
Rodimer made his non-televised WWE debut on December 1, 2006 at a RAW brand house show in Knoxville, Tennessee, defeating Val Venis after a Full Nelson Slam.
