Daniel Ionel Opriţa, (born August 10, 1981 in Drăgăneşti), is a Romanian football (soccer) striker, who can also play as a winger. He is one of the most experienced players of Steaua Bucharest, as he joined the team four years ago, in 2002.

Despite playing as a striker, Opriţa does not score many goals, however his main ability is to create spaces for his team mates, from where many goals are born. He is very committed while playing, and he is also technically gifted.

Prior to his transfer to Steaua in 2002, Oprita played for CSM Reşiţa between 2000 and 2002 in Romania's Liga II.
