Daniel Egan

Daniel Egan was a mayor of Sydney, New South Wales in 1853. He purchased two 40 acre blocks of land in Beacon Hill, New South Wales in 1857.
Egan was born on January 1st, 1803 in Windsor, New South Wales and died at his home in Watson's Bay, New South Wales on 16th October 1870. From the 27th October 1868 until his death he was the Postmaster General of New South Wales.
