Daniel Cross (born March 30, 1983) is an Australian rules football midfielder who currently plays for the Western Bulldogs.

Daniel was picked up with pick 56 in the 2000 National Draft and debuted two years later in 2002. In 2004 he was nominated as a National Rising Star as well as being voted best team person within his own football club. He had an outstanding 2005, playing every game and averaging 26 possessions a game. This effort earned him 2nd place in the club Best and Fairest behind his role model Scott West.

On Friday, 25 August in the Western Bulldogs clash with St. Kilda, Daniel picked up 36 possessions, his career best. At the 2006 Brownlow Medal Count he polled best on ground (3 votes) twice.
