Daniel Catán

Daniel Catán is a Mexican composer known particularly for his operas. He studied philosophy and music at the University of Sussex and the University of Southampton.
Catán was the first Mexican composer to have an opera produced in the United States. He has also composed orchestral and chamber works and film music.
