Daniel Bernard Roumain

Daniel Bernard Roumain (DBR) is a composer and violinist best known for mixing popular styles, such as hip hop, with classical. He has collaborated with choreographer and dancer Bill T. Jones, such as on Blind Date, as well as with Philip Glass, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Vernon Reid, DJ's Radar, Spooky, and Scientific, Susan Sarandon, Cassandra Wilson, Del Sol Quartet, and various ensembles. He has his own ensemble DBR & THE MISSION made up of a DJ, an amplified string quartet, keyboard, bass and drums.
