"Dancing Days" was a song by English rock band Led Zeppelin. It appears on their 1973 album Houses of the Holy, but was first played on their 1972 concert tour of the United States. A live version of the song can be found on How the West Was Won. That album is one of the few outlets you can hear "Dancing Days" live, due to the fact that Led Zeppelin rarely played the song live. An abridged, acoustic version was occasionally performed during the 1977 US tour.
The opening riff which lasts until 0:17 is quite well known; many radio stations and VH1 Classic use it sometimes.
Stone Temple Pilots also did a well-known cover version of this song for the Led Zeppelin tribute album Encomium.
