Dance Hall Of The Dead, released in 1973, is the second novel by Tony Hillerman featuring the character Joe Leaphorn. Like many of Hillerman's books, Dance Hall Of The Dead is set in the American Southwest. Themes of the book include the Zuni religion and hostility between the Navajo and the Zuni.

Dance Hall Of The Dead received the 1974 Edgar Award for Best Novel.
