Dan Wilson (announcer)

Dan Wilson (born November 18th, 1980 in Chattanooga, TN) is an American professional wrestling manager for NWA Anarchy Wrestling, best known for his work with the National Wrestling Alliance. Nicknamed "The Reverend", he manages the Devil's Rejects, which consist of "The Strong Style Psycho" Tank, "The Son Of Satan" Azrael, "The No Pain Train" Iceberg, and "The Sleeper Cell" Shaun Tempers.

Wilson appears weekly on the nationally syndicated "NWA Anarchy Wrestling" television show, which is broadcast in the U.S., the UK, and Italy, and also weekly on the internet.

He spent the bulk of his career as the play-by-play announcer for NWA Wildside in Cornelia, GA, where he worked with a variety of color commentators, most notably Steven Prazak, Scott Hudson, and Dave Prazak.

He is credited with coining TNA Wrestling's AJ Styles' nickname of "The Phenomenal One", a name Styles still uses to this day.

He is also the nephew of famed wrestler Gilberto "Gypsy Joe" Merendez.

On September 4th, 2006, Wilson, alongside several NWA Anarchy colleagues appeared on WWE Monday Night RAW, playing the part of "Vince McMahon's Personal Security" in a segment in which they were destroyed by Triple H and Shawn Michaels.
