Dan Toler

Dan Toler, also known as "Dangerous Dan Toler." An Indiana native. He first came to noteriety in the late 1970s as a member of Dickey Betts' band Great Southern. He went on to become a member of the Allman Brothers Band with Betts from 1978-1982 appearing on "Enlightened Rogues" (1979), "Reach for the Sky" (1980) and "Brothers of the Road" (1981).
Toler later was a member of the Gregg Allman Band in the 1980s as well as reformed version of Great Southern in the 2000s. He has a guitar that Dickey Betts once gave him that originally belonged to Duane Allman. He is well-known for having a guitar sound that much resembles the sound of Dickey Betts.
