Dan Stewart

Dan Stewart represents the 25th Ohio House District which includes German Village, Short North, Franklinton,and Hilltop areas of Columbus. He is a (Democrat from Columbus, Ohio) and was born and raised on Columbus's West Side. The 1976 West High School graduate still resides in the Hilltop area of Columbus. Dan has been a state representative since 2003. In November of 2006, Stewart won re-election against Columbus resident Michael Wiles. Stewart won by a 69-31 margin.

Dan is known in the community for his commitment to keeping the people of his district informed. He regularly hosts Town Hall Forums and invites residents to speak with him and other elected officials from the community. In 2004, Dan won the Fire Fighters Legislator of the Year Award recipient. He has sponsored hundreds of bills.

Dan was twice elected to serve on the Hilltop Commission, Franklin County Democratic Party Executive Committee a member of the Hilltop Business Association, a member of the AFL/CIO and other community groups. Dan is also a ranking member of the State Government Committee. [1]
