Dan Stevens

Daniel Jonathan Stevens (born 10 October 1982 in Croydon, England) is a British actor. He read English Literature at Emmanuel College, Cambridge. He has worked in theatre with directors Sir Peter Hall, and Samuel West in the UK and the US. He was nominated for an Ian Charleson Award for his portrayal of Orlando in As You Like It for the Peter Hall Company in 2005. He appears as the lead, Nick Guest, in the BBC2 adaptation of The Line of Beauty by Alan Hollinghurst. Earlier this year he played Simon Bliss in Hay Fever by Noël Coward at the Haymarket Theatre, alongside Peter Bowles and Dame Judi Dench, directed by Sir Peter Hall. Dan has just finished filming Dracula for the BBC, starring alongside Marc Warren, Sophia Myles and David Suchet. Dracula is scheduled to air early 2007.
