Dan Păltinişanu Stadium

Stadionul Dan Păltinişanu is a multi-use stadium in Timişoara, Romania, built in 1960 and modernised in the last years. It is currently used mostly for football matches by the local team FCU Politehnica Timişoara. The stadium has a capacity of 33,000 people and a Light Installation of 1,465 lux. The stadium has the second largest capacity in the country, second only to the National Stadium in Bucharest.

Dan Păltinişanu (1951-1995) was a Timişoara born defender, who played for 10 years in the Politehnica squad.
