Dan Hicks (archaeologist)

Dan Hicks (born 1972 in Durham, England) is a British archaeologist and anthropologist based at the University of Bristol. He is also Research Fellow in Archaeology at Boston University. His research focuses on historical archaeology, material culture studies and world archaeology. He studied Archaeology and Anthropology at St John's College, Oxford and received his Ph.D. in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of Bristol. His fieldwork has focused on historical archaeology in the eastern Caribbean and in the UK.
