Dan Goodwin

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dan Goodwin from Las Vegas is a self proclaimed, amateur stuntman who in 1981 successfully climbed the Sears Tower and the John Hancock Center in Chicago, Illinois. After a six hour climb up the Sears Tower, he was arrested for trespassing and only released after paying a fine. He uses the pseudonym of "Spidey Dan".

During this successful attempt to climb the John Hancock Center building, the Chicago Fire Department sprayed him with water hoses in an attempt to stop him from reaching the top.[1]

Later, in 1986 he climbed the CN Tower's 335 metres of windows twice in one day.
