Dan Gauthier

Dan Gauthier (born December 2, 1963 in Prineville, Oregon) is an American actor. He attended San Diego State University, where he was part of the track team.

After college, Gauthier was a model for several years. He appeared in the films "Son In Law" and "Groom Lake", and in 1989, he appeared in the movie Teen Witch, a role for which he is still recognized.

Gauthier has appeared on a number of primetime television programs, including Melrose Place, Beverly Hills, 90210, Friends, Charmed, Ellen, Sisters, Will & Grace, and Still Standing
His most high-profile primetime role was as maverick helicopter pilot, Johnny McKay in CBS's Tour of Duty.

In June 2003, Gauthier became the tenth actor to play former Lieutenant Governor Kevin Lord Riley Buchanan on the ABC soap opera, One Life to Live until November 2006.
As of August 23, 2006 Gauthier has been released from his One Life to Live contract. According to the actor's website, the show indicated that unfavorable feedback from focus groups about the character played a role in their decision. The character of Kevin had been a "good guy" for most of Gauthier's run, but in the last year, had been written with more of a dark edge. Kevin left town for London on November 16, 2006.
