Dan Blonsky was the second contestant to win the $1 million grand prize on the American game show, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. He is an attorney from Miami, Florida.

Some of the questions Blonsky answered regarded Betty Ford's CB radio nickname (First Mama), and the who was on the first cover feature in People Magazine (Mia Farrow), a question which Blonsky answered with the help from a law partner using the Phone-a-Friend lifeline. The $1 million question asked for the distance between the earth and the sun, and he chose the correct answer of 93,000,000 miles.

Blonsky joked about having to bring his mother along to the taping because he didn't have much of a social life. Clearly this was mere humor, as Blonsky was named one of People Magazine's most eligible bachelors.[citation needed] He is now happily married to his wife, Shona.
